Sling Swivels Installed: 

To install the forward swivel, the swivel was aligned with the middle ramrod pipe so when the swivel was hanging down, it would lay onto the pipe and not obstruct it. Once this was done, then the bolt hole placement was noted onto the barrel.  A thick brass tenon was then installed onto the belly of the barrel for the bolt to pass thru. This gives strength to bolt so it is not just pinned thru the wooden stock. 

First inlet the brass tenon into the barrel. Then inlet the barrel with the new tenon into the stock. Determine the depth of the barrel and the tenon and make these marks on the outside of the stock. Drill thru the stock with a bit the diameter of the bolt.

The rear swivel was located 7 inches from the end of the stock. A #23 drill bit was used for drilling the stock.  The head of round swivel post was flattened on two sides. This allowed the swivel to float freely on the post. A countersink was used so the post would be seated against the stock.  Here are few photos of this:
