Inletted the Butt Plate:

The butt plate was laid against the side of the stock with the top comb of the plate even with the top of the cheek.  A line was drawn and the wood was removed to the inside of the lines.  The plate was inletted downward flat into the stock then forward to mate up the sides of the plate with the stock.  The following are a series of photos taken in the process. 2007-04-27 002.JPG (198441 bytes)
