Pin Barrel To The Stock:
Now I took a piece of 1/16" thick brass to make tenons to be dovetailed
into the bottom of the barrel. I suspect the original had copper which may
have broken or they were not thick enough, which is why they had to brass band
the barrel to the stock.
Here are are a series of photos of the tenons being made and
installed.
Now that the barrel is pinned and the tang is inletted,
let's install the lock.
