Browning The Iron:

I used Laurel Mountain barrel treatment for the barrel.  Follow the instructions and it works great. For the lock, bolts and screws, I used Hot Brown solution. I removed the front sight prior to browning the barrel. The end of the muzzle was plugged with a wooden plug. The flash liner was plugged with a tooth pick. After four applications the barrel was browned. During the application process, I used a piece of burlap cloth and hot water to remove the residual rust off of the barrel before another application was applied.

Here is a photo of the browned bolts and screws. Sorry I did not get more photos of the barrel during this process.
