Ol'e Bookie sold me an old buffalo horn.  I already have a few horns, but not a black buffalo horn. So I just had to make one. Took a ton of scraping to peel thru the layers.  Then drilled down into the cavity from the tip and shaped the end of the horn.   I made the horn plug out of Iowa native walnut scrap left over from my pistol.  After putting it on the horn, I took black locust tree thorns and put them in around the perimeter of the horn to hold it onto the horn and add decoration. Added a leather strap from the shop and whola, me now have powder horn.
